Zee Entertainment Enterprises gains on acquiring Margo Networks

Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEE) is currently trading at Rs. 521.05, up by 3.40 points or 0.66% from its previous closing of Rs. 517.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 519.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 523.60 and Rs. 517.00 respectively. So far 92,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 588.80 on 03-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 395.70 on 21-Apr-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 534.40 and Rs. 515.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 50,068.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.07%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 50.80% and 6.12% respectively.

ZEE has acquired Margo Networks (Margo). Margo has allotted 40,000 equity shares to the company. Upon such allotment, the company holds 80% equity stake in Margo and consequently Margo has become a subsidiary of the company.

ZEE is one of India’s leading television media and entertainment companies. It is amongst the largest producers and aggregators of Hindi programming in the world.
