National Fertilizers trades with traction on the bourses

National Fertilizers is currently trading at Rs. 79.00, up by 1.10 points or 1.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 77.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 78.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 79.30 and Rs. 78.35 respectively. So far 34587 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 80.95 on 31-Mar-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 29.25 on 02-May-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 80.15 and Rs. 73.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3860.85 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 89.71%, while institutions and non-institutions held 6.20% and 4.09% respectively.

National Fertilizers (NFL) has won the top National Safety Council (NSC) award -- Sarva Shreshtha Suraksha Puraskar -- for 2016. Indian Oils Digboi refinery, National Fertilizers, Panipat, and NPCIL, Kaiga Generating Station 3 and 4, Karnataka, are among the winners in the manufacturing sector.

National Fertilizers is second largest producer of Nitrogenous Fertilizers in the India commanding 16.5% of market share. The company also manufactures spectrum of industrial products which include Methanol, Sodium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrite, Nitric Acid, Sulphur, Liquid Oxygen, Liquid CO2, Liquid Nitrogen etc.
