Ultratech Cement reports 11% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Ultratech Cement has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.

The company has reported a fall of 11.84% in its net profit at Rs 688.33 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 780.78 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 4.25% at Rs 7739.50 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 7424.08 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 11.27% in its consolidated  net profit at Rs 725.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 818.11 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY16. However, total consolidated income from operations of the company rose 4.13% at Rs 8164.72 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 7841.05 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a rise of 10.87% in its net profit at Rs 2,627.72 crore as compared to Rs 2,370.16 crore in FY16. Total income of company increased marginally by 1.44% at Rs 27,822.37 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 27,427.80 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted rise of 9.56% in its net profit at Rs 2,714.92 crore as compared to Rs 2,478.04 crore in the previous year. Total income from operations of company has increased marginally by 1.52% at Rs 29,294.05 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 28,855.39 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
