Persistent Systems reports marginal fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Persistent Systems has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.

The company has reported a rise of 4.47% in its net profit after tax, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 53.80 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 51.50 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 13.07% at Rs 430.55 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 380.77 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a marginal fall of 0.41% in its consolidated net profit after tax, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 72.80 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 73.10 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY16. However, total consolidated income from operations of the company rose 7.38% at Rs 727.11 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 677.11 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a rise of 17.80% in its net profit at Rs 294.03 crore as compared to Rs 249.60 crore in FY16. Total income of company increased by 19.75% at Rs 1732.96 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1447.14 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted rise of 8.72% in its net profit at Rs 301.47 crore as compared to Rs 277.30 crore in the previous year. Total income from operations of company has increased by 24.48% at Rs 2878.44 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 2312.33 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
