Container Corporation inks four MoU during IITLs Summit 2017

Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), a Public Sector Undertaking, under Ministry of Indian Railways has signed four Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the India Integrated Transport & Logistics (IITL) Summit 2017 on May 5, 2017 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

The company has signed two tripartite MoUs with the State Government and NHAI for development of MMLPs at Hyderabad and Surat. It has also signed one MoUs with Paradip Port for development of a MMLP and other one with Chennai Port for the development of an extended gate facility at CONCOR's facility at Tondiarpet to ease the congestion at Chennai Port.

Container Corporation of India commenced operation from November 1989 taking over the existing network of 7 ICDs from the Indian Railways. From its humble beginning, it is now an undisputed market leader having the largest network of 66 ICDs/CFSs in India.
