JSW Steel reports crude steel production of 12.88 lakh tonnes in April 2017

JSW Steel has reported crude steel production of 12.88 lakh tonnes in April 2017 with a growth of 7% over the corresponding month in 2016. The production of rolled products (long) increased to 2.96 lakh tonnes compared to 2.64 lakh tonnes in April 2016, representing a growth of 12%. The production of rolled products (flat) during the quarter increased to 9.32 lakh tonnes, a rise of 5%, as compared to 8.87 lakh tonnes in April 2016.

JSW Steel is one of the largest steel manufacturing companies in India having units in Karnataka and Maharashtra producing crude steel, long steel and flat steel products.
