Just In: CPI cools down to 2.99% in April

In a positive surprise, India’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) cooled down to 2.99% in the month of April as against 3.89% in March. Rural inflation softened to 3.02% and urban inflation stood at 3.03% in April 2017.
