Umang Dairies soars on re-starting operations at Gajraula plant

Umang Dairies is currently trading at Rs. 84.50, up by 2.40 points or 2.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 82.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 82.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 86.45 and Rs. 82.45 respectively. So far 8084 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 101.00 on 30-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 60.75 on 17-Aug-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 86.45 and Rs. 80.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 182.85 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.61%, while institutions and non-institutions held 0.07% and 25.32% respectively.

Umang Dairies has re-started operations of its plant at Gajraula in state of Uttar Pradesh after receiving permission from National Green Tribunal (NGT). Earlier in April, the company had temporarily shut down its plant in Gajraula to comply with the order of NGT.

Umang Dairies is engaged in the business of dairy products. The company’s principal products/ services include ghee and milk powder. The company offers various brands, which include White Magik, Dairy Top and Milk Star.
