Bajaj Finserv reports marginal rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Bajaj Finserv has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.   

The company has reported a fall of 90.59% in its net profit at Rs 6.35 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 67.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 68.33% at Rs 26.87 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 84.84 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016. 

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a fall of 57.08% in its net profit at Rs 70.02 crore as compared to Rs 163.13 crore in FY16. Total income of company decreased by 34.38% at Rs 165.00 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 251.45 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a marginal rise of 3.27% in its net profit after tax and minority interest at Rs 534.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 517.95 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.59% at Rs 7043.40 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 6311.79 crore for the same quarter ended previous year. 

For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 21.40% in its net profit after tax and minority interest at Rs 2261.92 crore as compared to Rs 1863.27 crore in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.42% at Rs 24522.06 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 20533.62 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
