Physical Rubber prices end lower on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices ended lower on Thursday on account of buyer resistance in the market following moderate selling from certain dealers and growers. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 128/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 129.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety weakened to Rs 125/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 126.50/ kg.

In the futures market, contract for June delivery fell to Rs 124.53 compared to its previous closing of Rs 129.01, while July delivery closed at Rs 126.63 compared to its previous close of Rs 131.17 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
