Suzlon Energy has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 426.53 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to net loss of Rs 141.08 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operations of the company increased by 58.20% at Rs 3713.67 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2347.40 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported a net profit of Rs 578.99 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to net loss of Rs 333.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 54.01% at Rs 4999.33 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3246.04 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company posted a net profit of Rs 712.18 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 26.65 crore in FY16. Total income of company increased by 58.19% at Rs 9356.81 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5914.92 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 47.22% in its net profit at Rs 839.47 crore as compared to Rs 570.22 crore in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 34.07% at Rs 12714.37 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 9483.48 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
