Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals (GACL) has registered 21.04% dip in the net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012 at Rs 44.21 crore against Rs 55.99 crore in the corresponding period previous year.
The company has registered net sales of Rs 422.12 crore for the quarter, up by 5.34% from Rs 400.72 crore in the same period previous year.
Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals is engaged in business of manufacturing basic chemicals such as sodium cyanide, sodium ferrocyanide, chloromethanes, hydrochloric acid, caustic potash, potassium carbonate, phosphoric acid (85%) and hydrogen peroxide.
