Bharat Forge has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.
The company has reported a rise of 25.32% in its net profit after tax at Rs 207.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 165.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.68% at Rs 1205.37 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1089.07 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.
For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a fall of 16.13% in its net profit at Rs 585.07 crore as compared to Rs 697.62 crore in FY16. Total income of company decreased by 10.18% at Rs 4165.62 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4637.82 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 7.43% in its net profit at Rs 697.59 crore as compared to Rs 649.32 crore in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 5.83% at Rs 6717.44 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7133.68 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
