India's natural Rubber production up by 23.1% in April

Natural Rubber production in India continued to show an upward trend in April, rose 23.1% to 48,000 tons from 39,000 tons in April 2016, as per the data compiled by the state run Rubber Board.

If this trend continues, production of natural Rubber during the financial year will reach the anticipated 8 lakh tons, data showed.

India's Rubber production in the 2016/17 fiscal year ended on March 31 rose 23% to 690,000 tons.
