Idea Cellular rings loud on unveiling 4G in Mumbai

Idea Cellular is currently trading at Rs. 80.00, up by 0.60 points or 0.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 79.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 79.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 81.20 and Rs. 79.35 respectively. So far 306381 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 123.75 on 20-Mar-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 66.00 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 89.00 and Rs. 75.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 28900.55 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.41%, while institutions and non-institutions held 33.80% and 23.79% respectively.

Idea Cellular, the country’s third largest telco, has completed its 4G rollout by adding the important Mumbai circle. The company has launched with some aggressive data tariffs offering unlimited voice calls for Rs 395.

As part of its inaugural offer, all 4.4 million existing Idea customers, both on prepaid and postpaid services and new customers who join during the offer period will get 10 GB 4G free promotional data.

Idea Cellular is an AV Birla group company and provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level.
