Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 3,60,975.06 crore on May 26 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 45,90,913.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 16,075.36 crore, Stock Futures Rs 53,836.09 crore and Index Options Rs 2,60,144.13 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 30,919.48 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.80, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.86 and that of Stock Options was 0.45.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were V-Guard Industries (2.75), Torrent Pharmaceuticals (2.56), Aditya Birla Nuvo (2.12), Ajanta Pharma (1.75) and Indraprastha Gas (1.64).
Among most active underlying, Tata Steel witnessed an addition of 1.12 million units of Open Interest in the June month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing an addition of 0.01 million units of Open Interest in the June month contract, ITC witnessed an addition of 1.56 million units of Open Interest in the June month contract, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation witnessed an addition of 1.06 million units of Open Interest in the June month future contract and State Bank of India witnessed an addition of 1.14 million units of Open Interest in the June month future contract.
