Physical rubber prices ended mostly higher on Monday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety improved to Rs 128.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 128/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 126/ kg.
In the futures market, June delivery fell to Rs 126.70 compared to its previous closing of Rs 128.52, while July delivery closed at Rs 131.86 compared to its previous close of Rs 132.81 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
