Physical Rubber prices end lower on Friday

Physical Rubber prices ended lower on Friday. Market activities were extremely low following the widespread rains all over the plantation areas. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 125/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 125.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety weakened to Rs 123/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 123.50/ kg.

In the futures market, June delivery fell to Rs 120.44 compared to its previous closing of Rs 124.19, while July delivery closed at Rs 123.34 compared to its previous close of Rs 128.18 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
