Mercator advances on bagging contract worth Rs 15 crore

Mercator is currently trading at Rs. 39.75, up by 0.05 points or 0.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 39.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 39.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 40.05 and Rs. 39.55 respectively. So far 43080 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 55.20 on 24-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 29.70 on 24-Jun-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 42.35 and Rs. 39.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1068.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.33%, while institutions and non-institutions held 15.07% and 50.61% respectively.

Mercator has received a contract for maintenance dredging at Karaikal Port. The value of the contract is around Rs 15 crore and the work will be completed during first half of FY18.

Mercator is Mumbai based International organization. As a group, Mercator has diversified business interests in Coal, Oil & Gas, Commodity Transportation and Dredging.
