Chambal Fertilisers rises on entering into an agreement with GAIL

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 128.00, up by 1.05 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 126.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 127.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 130.55 and Rs. 126.55 respectively. So far 206229 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 138.00 on 10-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 53.70 on 17-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 130.55 and Rs. 121.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5333.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.80%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.36% and 23.85% respectively.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals has entered into an agreement with GAIL (India) for purchase of gas. The gas is being purchased mainly for new urea plant of the Company being set up at the existing site at Gadepan, District Kota, Rajasthan. The annual contracted quantity is 24955 billion British Thermal Units on Gross calorific value basis.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals is one of the largest private sector fertilizer producers in India. It has three divisions catering agri products, shipping & textiles.
