Indian rupee strengthened against US dollar in morning deals on Thursday on account of selling of American currency by bank and exporters, following dollar weakness overseas. Further, a higher opening in the domestic equity market too fuelled the uptrend. On the global front, the dollar wallowed at one-year lows against the euro and slipped against sterling in Asian trade on Thursday as investors priced in tighter monetary policy in Europe.
