Physical Rubber prices witness improvement on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices extended improvement on Thursday, catalysed by the sharp gains in domestic futures. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to 124.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 123.50/kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 122/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 121/kg.

In the futures market, July delivery improved to Rs 129.58 compared to its previous closing of Rs 125.99, while August delivery closed at Rs 133.75 compared to its previous close of Rs 129.62 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
