Physical Rubber prices witness improvement on Friday

Physical Rubber prices extended improvement on Friday as the market regained strength on covering purchases amidst low supplies. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to 125/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 124.50/kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 123/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 122/kg.

In the futures market, July delivery declined to Rs 129.18 compared to its previous closing of Rs 129.58, while August delivery closed at Rs 133.21 compared to its previous close of Rs 133.75 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
