Coal India has reported provisional production of 39.66 million tonnes (MT) in June 2017, as against a target of 43.18 MT. The company’s total off-take for the month of June stood at 45.67 MT, as against a target of 48.55 MT.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
