Infosys rises on inking agreement for divestment of entire investment in Cloudyn

Infosys is currently trading at Rs. 948.65, up by 13.00 points or 1.39% from its previous closing of Rs. 935.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 935.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 949.90 and Rs. 935.00 respectively. So far 96114 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1195.05 on 14-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 900.30 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 949.90 and Rs. 921.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 217061.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 12.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 58.62% and 11.94% respectively.

Infosys has signed an agreement for divestment of its entire investment in Cloudyn Software for a total consideration of approximately $4,400,000. The divestment is due to Microsoft signing a definitive agreement for the acquisition of Cloudyn.

Recently, the company had launched ‘Infosys Boundaryless Data Lake’ offering powered by its Information Grid Solution on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
