Ambuja Cements has secured an estimated limestone resource of 42 million tonnes (MT) at a final bid price of 125.05% of value of mineral dispatched. The company had participated in the e-auction tender of limestone block for Nandgaon Ekodi Limestone block in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra by the State Government of Maharashtra.
Ambuja Cements is a part of a global conglomerate Holcim. The company has five integrated cement manufacturing plants and eight cement grinding units across the country.
