15 Jul 2017 Evaluate

Suzlon Energy has filed for voluntary liquidation of its Brazilian subsidiary 'Suzlon Energia Eolica do Brasil' (SEOB). This decision was taken after carefully considering all options and as a consequence of multiple factors that are unique to Brazil. The decision does not, in any way, alter Suzlon’s global operations strategy.

SEOB, a step down wholly owned subsidiary of the company filed for voluntary liquidation in the State of Ceara (Brazil) under the federal laws of Brazil on July 14, 2017. SEOB was established to manage business opportunities in Brazil in 2006.
