Physical Rubber prices showed improvement on Friday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to 132.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 131.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 130/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 129/ kg.
In the futures market, July delivery contract declined to Rs 131.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 132.25, while August delivery closed at Rs 137.60 compared to its previous close of Rs 136.90 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
