Bhansali Engineering gains on planning capacity expansion programme at Sirohi plant

Bhansali Engineering Polymers is currently trading at Rs. 82.10, up by 1.20 points or 1.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 80.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 81.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 83.25 and Rs. 81.40 respectively. So far 4,31,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 84.60 on 18-Jul-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.95 on 29-Sep-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 84.60 and Rs. 72.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,362.91 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.92% and 42.59% respectively.

Bhansali Engineering Polymers has proposed a production capacity expansion programme at its ABU Road Plant at Sirohi, Rajasthan to enhance its ABS production capacity from the existing 80 KTPA to 137 KTPA by 31 December, 2018 with the estimated capex of Rs 300 crore, which will be funded through internal accruals only.

Bhansali Engineering Polymers is a vertically integrated petrochemical company that manufactures ABS, which acts as a raw material for leading companies dealing in automobiles, home appliances, telecommunications, luggage, bus body and various other applications.
