GE T&D India touches the roof on turning black in Q1

GE T&D India is currently trading at its upper circuit of Rs. 392.90, up by 65.45 points or 19.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 327.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 350.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 392.90 and Rs. 350.00 respectively. So far 354512 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 392.90 on 26-July-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 277.05 on 07-Mar-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 392.90 and Rs. 318.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10060.07 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while institutions and non-institutions held 14.93% and 10.06% respectively.

GE T&D India has reported a net profit of Rs 61.67 crore for the quarter under review as compared to a net loss of Rs 197.41 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 39.23% at Rs 1305.57 crore for Q1FY18 as compared Rs 937.71 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

GE T&D India is engaged in power transmission and distribution. Its products and systems serve to transmit and distribute electricity, ensure the reliability, quality and safety of energy flows, as well as operate efficient networks through information management.
