Wipro’s arm - Wipro Infotech, the India and Middle East IT business unit of the company and a leading provider of IT and a business transformation service has won a 10-year contract from Manipal Health Enterprises (MHEPL). As per the contract, the company will implement its latest hospital information system solution (HIS) and data migration services across Manipal Group Hospitals.
The proposed HIS application is patient-centric which will provide immediate access to clinical, administrative and billing data required for the efficient functioning of a hospital. It will also ensure high levels of automation, better availability of information; reduction in patient’s waiting time and better utilization of revenues.
Besides, the company’s engagement with MHEPL spans across a gamut of services encompassing integration of HIS with third party software, interfacing with lab equipments and providing infrastructure support services on HIS Platform.
