Coal India has reported provisional production of 36.64 million tonnes (MT) in July 2017, as against a target of 37.66 MT. The company’s total off-take for the month of July stood at 44.33 MT, as against a target of 44.96 MT.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
