Physical Rubber prices witness some improvement on Friday

Physical Rubber prices showed some improvement on Friday on account of covering purchases in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to 131/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 130.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 126/ kg.

In the futures market, August delivery contract firmed up to Rs 132.28 compared to its previous closing of Rs 130.84, while September delivery closed at Rs 131.23 compared to its previous close of Rs 129.05 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
