Tata Steel’s Q1 consolidated net profit at Rs 921.09 crore

Tata Steel has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2017.

The company has reported 11.99% fall in its net profit at Rs 506.45 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 575.43 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income of the company increased by 39.36% at Rs 14533.86 crore for Q1FY18 as compared Rs 10428.98 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidate basis, the company has reported a net profit of Rs 921.09 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2017 as against a net loss of Rs 3183.07 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. Total consolidated income of the company increased by 19.24% at Rs 31128.80 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 26107.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
