Euro Multivision trades higher on the bourses

Euro Multivision is currently trading at Rs. 4.50, up by 0.08 points or 1.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 4.42 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4.50 and Rs. 4.50 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 13.00 on 07-Jun-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4.00 on 16-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4.89 and Rs. 4.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10.71 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.81 % while Non-Institutions held 46.19% stake in the company.

Euro Multivision has been unable to operate solar photovoltaic cells unit at full capacity as the cost of production of solar cells continues to be higher than the prevailing market prices.

The company has incurred significant losses due to severe fall in prices of solar photovoltaic cells globally on account of reduced demand, reductions in feed-in-tariffs and other subsidies in major markets have generated a negative sentiment for photovoltaic (PV) installations.

Euro Multivision manufactures optical storage devices, including recordable compact disks (CDRs), and recordable digital versatile disks (DVDRs). With annual capacity of 180 million CDRs, its plant is located in the Kutch district of Gujarat.
