Britannia Industries is re-launching its flagship brand ‘Treat’ in the premium cream biscuit. The company will be investing Rs 50 crore on Treat in the next nine to 12 months, while the total investment for premium creams category would be Rs 100 crore over the next nine to 12 months. The company is aiming to increase its market share in the cream biscuits category from 35% to 50% in the next two years.
Britannia Industries, one of the India’s biggest brands of the country, has a market share of over 33%. More-than-a-century old Britannia has launched big brands in FMCG Segment. The company is expanding its customer base by launching new products and renovating existing ones.
