IOC trades in fine fettle on the bourses

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is currently trading at Rs. 457.40, up by 5.55 points or 1.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 451.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 455.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 462.60 and Rs. 450.00 respectively. So far 476403 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 462.60 on 31-Aug-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 275.13 on 12-Sep-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 454.25 and Rs. 426.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 223832.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.34%, while Institutions and non-institutions held 17.34% and 25.32% respectively.

IOC is in the process of revamping its Mourigram oil terminal to meet additional safety standards as per norms. The terminal is being revamped now as per the guidelines of Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD) even as adequate safety measures had been already taken. The entire exercise would take four to five years involving an expenditure of Rs 55 crore.
