IncuCapital Advisors has launched an early fund with a target corpus of Rs 40 crore, that may be scaled upto Rs 100 crore. IncuCapital is a group company of IndiaCo Ventures and launched this year to incubate early-stage start-ups.
The fund’s investment committee will include Manish Kumar and Surojit Nandy, co-founders of IncuCapital, IndiaCo Ventures' Vice Chairman, Rahul Patwardhan and newly-launched IvyCap Ventures' founder, Vikram Gupta, apart from a seasoned entrepreneur who has exited successfully from his venture.
Recently, the company had entered into definite investment agreement with ColMac International, Mauritius to invest in one of the IVL’s aggregation vehicles. ColMac, as per the agreement, will invest about $6.4 million and take significant minority stake in one of the IVL’s subsidiaries.
