Shoppers Stop trades higher on the bourses

Shoppers Stop is currently trading at Rs. 366.50, up by 3.15 points or 0.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 363.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 367.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 367.00 and Rs. 366.50 respectively. So far 60 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 406.00 on 07-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 265.00 on 28-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 374.50 and Rs. 350.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3064.62 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.10%, while institutions and non-institutions held 17.79% and 15.11% respectively.

Shoppers Stop has opened its Shoppers Stop store in R-Cube Monad Mall, Rajouri Garden at New Delhi. With this, the company has now 80 Shoppers Stop (including six airport stores) stores under its operations.

Shoppers Stop is engaged in the retailing business. It runs a chain of departmental stores with brands including Shopper’s Stop, Home Stop, Crossword, Cafes and Restaurants etc.
