Sagar Cements jumps on reporting 20% rise in August production

Sagar Cements is currently trading at Rs. 830.90, up by 20.65 points or 2.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 810.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 839.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 839.80 and Rs. 830.90 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 940.00 on 16-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 573.50 on 22-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 855.00 and Rs. 800.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,695.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.04% and 30.92% respectively.

Sagar Cements has reported the cement production and sales figures for August 2017. The company’s consolidated Cement production for August 2017 stood at 191,708 million tonnes (MT), up by 19.92% compared to 159,859 MT produced (including cement purchase) in August 2016.

Further, the consolidated Cement sales for August 2017 stood at 199,216 MT, up by 15.32% compared to 172,756 MT sold in August 2016.
