Emami Cement to set up cement making plants in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh: Report

Emami Cement, an arm of the Rs 50000 crore Emami Group is reportedly mulling to set up cement making plants in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. The company has bagged limestone deposits in both the states.

The company has committed Rs 100-200 crore on the blocks and are in advanced stage of obtaining environment clearance (EC).

Emami is the flagship company of the Emami Group and engaged in manufacturing products under various categories namely Hair Care, Skin Creams and Lotions, Talcum Powder and ayurvedic health care products.
