In the global market, U.S. Treasury yields fell on Monday as concerns about tensions between North Korea and the United States and a surge in support for the far right in Sunday's German election stoked safe-haven demand for U.S. government bonds. Furthermore, Oil markets took a breather after prices jumped more than 3 percent in the previous session, with Turkey threatening to cut crude flows from Iraq's Kurdistan region to the outside world.
Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading 4 basis points higher at 6.66% from its previous close of 6.62% on Monday.
The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading 4 basis points higher at 6.68% from its previous close of 6.64% on Monday.
