In the global market, U.S. Treasury debt yields drifted higher on Wednesday after a measure of U.S. services sector activity hit a 12-year high, offsetting some concerns about an upcoming payrolls report. Furthermore, Oil prices dipped after the United States reported record crude exports, although traders said that efforts led by OPEC and Russia to cut production meant markets remained well supported overall.
Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading 3 basis points higher at 6.73% from its previous close of 6.70% on Wednesday.
The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading 3 basis points higher at 6.71% from its previous close of 6.68% on Wednesday.
