Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 3,59,536.77 crore on October 6 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 42,82,943.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 13,329.41 crore, Stock Futures Rs 42,728.93 crore and Index Options Rs 2,75,305.68 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 28,172.75 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.95, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 1.04 and that of Stock Options was 0.42.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company (7.19), Torrent Pharmaceuticals (5.05), Ramco Cements (2.77), BOSCH (2.00) and Kajaria Ceramics (1.98).
Among most active underlying, Tata Steel witnessed an addition of 2.60 million units of Open Interest in the October month futures contract, followed by State Bank of India witnessing a contraction of 1.21 million units of Open Interest in the October month contract, Reliance Industries witnessed a contraction of 0.73 million units of Open Interest in the October month contract, Vedanta witnessed an addition of 1.09 million units of Open Interest in the October month contract and Reliance Capital witnessed an addition of 1.08 million units of Open Interest in the October month future contract.
