According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 814.19 crore in index futures and options segments on Wednesday, June 13, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 1076.56 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 262.37 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 50.32 crore, and they also sold stock options worth Rs 7.76 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on June 13, 2012 is 32.32%.
