Tata Teleservices touches the roof on planning to raise up to Rs 20,000 crore

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) (TTML) is currently trading at its upper circuit limit of Rs. 5.34, up by 0.48 points or 9.88% from its previous closing of Rs. 4.86 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5.34 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5.34 and Rs. 5.34 respectively. So far 613556 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 10.48 on 02-Mar-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3.75 on 11-Oct-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5.50 and Rs. 3.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1043.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.36%, while institutions and non-institutions held 0.54% and 25.10% respectively.

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) is planning to raise up to Rs 20,000 crore through issuance of preference shares to promoters or via bonds. The company’s board will meet on October 18 to consider the fundraising.

The fundraising will be done through the issue of one or more types of instruments including redeemable preference shares to promoters, non-convertible debentures in one or more tranches, and/or inter-corporate deposit/loans from the promoters and others.

TTML is a part of the Tata Group. This telecom services company has its presence all over Maharashtra and Goa.
