Piramal Enterprises gains on planning to raise Rs 4,996.2 crore through bonds

Piramal Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 2780.90, up by 15.50 points or 0.56% from its previous closing of Rs. 2765.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2764.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2782.10 and Rs. 2741.25 respectively. So far 5,240 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3083.05 on 13-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1377.50 on 15-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2786.20 and Rs. 2719.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 47,886.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.43%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.21% and 17.36% respectively.

Piramal Enterprises has received approval for raising Rs 4,996.2 crore through allocation of securities to Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs). The administrative committee of the company’s board of directors has approved the issue of Confirmation of Allocation Note for allocation of 4,64,330 CCDs (compulsorily convertible debentures). The CCDs have a face value of Rs 1,07,600 each.
