V-Mart Retail has opened three new fashion stores in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Orissa and Bihar. With this the tally of stores in Uttar Pradesh is 17 Composite Stores & 48 Fashion Stores, Orissa is 3 Composite & 8 Fashion Stores and Bihar is 5 Composite & 29 Fashion Stores.
This takes the total number of stores to 160 Stores in 136 Cities across 14 states, with 37 Composite Stores & 123 Fashion Stores with a total area of approximately 13.5 lakh square feet.
V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of ‘value retail’ departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and kirana, catering to the entire family.
