Shankara Building Products has added three more stores in Chennai by taking over the stores of leading tiles and sanitaryware retailer, Vaigai Sanitation. This will further strengthen the company’s position in the building product categories of tiles, CP fittings, sanitaryware and enhance their retail presence in Chennai.
Vaigai runs its operations from three locations covering the city of Chennai. It has, in its 30+ years history, built a significant brand and goodwill among home owners, architects, builders and leading suppliers. Vaigai reported revenues of around Rs 38 crore for the first seven months of this fiscal year.
