Bharti Airtel rings loud on planning to invest Rs 25,000 crore in capex this fiscal

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 548.50, up by 5.40 points or 0.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 543.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 540.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 565.00 and Rs. 540.00 respectively. So far 185564526 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 565.00 on 03-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 283.95 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 565.00 and Rs. 483.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 218657.79 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.14%, while institutions and non-institutions held 26.28% and 6.58% respectively.

Bharti Airtel will invest Rs 25,000 crore in expanding and strengthening its 4G network during the ongoing fiscal year instead of Rs 20,000 crore announced earlier. The company is likely to shut down its 3G network in 3-4 years and refarm the spectrum linked with it for 4G services.
